So today at a swap meet I spotted a set of ALMOST complete vetter...

Two bags, black with key, mount...as well as a black fairing with another type of cycle sound housing. With vetter cover for the unit.

With lowers.

Some sissy bar KC brand with pad


Came off a gold wing


Price for all of it you ask?

I'm on the way home with all of it for 50$

From what I can see of the fairing mount, it looks like it came off of a 78 or 79 GoldWing.

A cut here and a weld there and then the next thing you know, they fit whatever you want.

So looking at photos showed me I had them upside down.

So maybe it's not that far off afterall.

It's already been modded at some point I think. Looks like he added a license plate bracket to it.

So the fairing has a chrome ring around the base of the windshield. I haven't seen that before.
Also the previous owner added some of his own touches

AFAIK, they were not made by Vetter and no idea who did make them. Probably one of the chrome add-on companies. I don't see many.

I kinda like the switch and cig lighter though. I can run my usb charger from there instead of my handle bar mount I have.

The switch is how you control stop lights. If you toggle it left you can change the lights to red and right is green. I have not seem many fairing with this option. If you follow the wires it should link to a transmitter. I read this was a option for police that never went into production.

It's already been modded at some point I think....

We tend to do those types of things... I have a few extra holes for switches, push buttons, and such: garage door opener, driving lights, horn, and car charger to name a few.

I also just picked up one of those chrome beauty pieces for the windscreen trim. Been looking for one for a few years.

It might be similar to that idea....but I think the PO just had fun with wiring...there's all sorts of stuff wired around in all three items.:dead:

Think you could take some detailed photos for me? The gold wing mounts are kinda close, but at the same time not close. If that makes any sense. Lol.
