Vetter deal of my life!

Every time I hold a Mosin, I almost walk out with it. I just can't bring myself to spend the money on a rifle I will never hunt with. Nice collection!

My oldest in a 4 digit Remington Model 31 Shotgun. The Oldest that I will get is my Grand-Fathers 30-40 Krag but it is paying rent at my Dad's place for a while. A long while yet, I hope.

Why wouldn't you hunt with your mosin? One in the picture is from 1896 and I can shoot car tire out at 680 yards all day long.

That's only a portion of my collection. The pretty bunch :)

Fear...

Fear of tripping and dropping it on a rock and messing it up. :bankhead:

Just find a 1942-1944 izvehsk 91/30 mosin. Tons of those years were made. The machining is rough from war time expediency. Taking it hunting won't faze it. Plus it would be a sub 300$ rifle

The two I have shown you, are a different breed of mosin

I know. I've seen them at the local Cabelas and Gander Mountain for 160-170. Maybe when I am done fixing up my bikes...

Thats is super cool Spark. I see a firearms off topic thread in the near future. I have only but 4 firearms myself but want more!

And to prove my point.... Today another bayonet arrived... Its called the 1898/05 or the Butcher blade bayonet. This model had the option of having the saw on the spine. Which was used against them with propaganda.
