Ok, I said I had to stop buying but that didn't last long, going to have a look at this tomorrow evening, its got one mounting holes damaged but may still be usable, asking price is about $36 in your money.
Found this so hope all will be OK at next MOTLooking sharp. Thats interesting about the lights. I would be interested in what you find out.
What are you using for front turn signals?
Amber lamps located within the indicator lamp must not adversely affect the operation of the indicator i.e. the indicator must go on and off to function not dim and bright.
Hondas, and I imagine many others, disconnect the running-light filament for each side when that side's turn signal is activated. This improves the contrast, which is probably the intent of that rule.As the inbuilt turn signals have dual filament bulbs I have just disconnected the feed to the second filament of the bulbs that are used for running lights, the other filament is still connected for turn signal indication.

That, or changing the socket to a single filament bulb, is what I was going to suggest.
