Vetter Windjammer SS year model?

I picked up my first Windjammer SS this past weekend with big thoughts of mounting it on my V Star 650 classic. I’m trying to figure out the yr model. The S/N is 24-257226. Would appreciate any help available. Thank you.

The SS's were made from 1977 through 1979. Your serial number is right in the middle of serial numbers of 24-200459 thru 24-281175.

As you can see, 24-233414 was made 1978, so that would make yours later in the run for the SS's.
