I spotted this at a Walmart today and cracked a motorcycle fairing joke to the cashier. Her husband had a Windjammer on a 'big Japanese bike' in the late 70's and they rode all over the country. I guess I made her day.
ROFLMAO! That does look like a huge fairing! The place where I get my non-ethanol gasoline for my Motorcycles just put that clear sticky plastic wrap across two metal poles that hold the Cashiers Cigarette ready access rack above the counter serving the same function but it looks very Redneck. Being in Alabama I should not have been surprised.
There's one good thing going to come out of all this. After things get back to somewhere near normal, a lot of those screens will be coming down and that's a fantastic source of new windscreens for all of us.

I don't think they will be coming down. The reason for that was evident at the service station I use that has ethanol free gasoline. They put up one of those plexiglass shields immediately after the lock down started. When I stopped for a fill-up yesterday they had replaced the plastic one for glass with a microphone/speaker mounted in it. I asked the Station Owner why they installed the glass shield and removed the plastic one. He said employees and most customers wanted the protection and hoped it would stay in place after this Virus thing was over. The plastic shield had to be picked up and removed to be cleaned with soap and water but the new glass one was just spray and wipe because it's glass and it's hard mounted to the counter. The USA has changed forever due to this Virus. I also asked about what happened to the plastic shield and he told me that considered it contaminated and so it went in the dumpster.
