Just bought a Windjammer

Hey guys I recently bought a 1980 cm450 for $500 and im doing a budget build to make it into an adventure cruiser bike. So I bought a windjammer 4 off criagslist im am fixing it up to put on the bike. the fairing is rough but everything is there. I'll probably post some stuff in the project forums when i get some pictures. Also does anyone know where i can find a mount for cm400/450 or is there one similar i can modify to fit

Welcome to the forum, I'm recently new too. There are a lot of great people here, very helpful.

Myself, I haven't owned anything but crotch rockets in 16 years out of 18. Never thought I'd like riding a cruiser till now, never heard of a vetter either. But now that I own one, I'll never go back to sporties. Just my 2 cents. Glad to have you here and we love pics of our projects. ;-)

I had a 1972 cb750 that i fixed up but it was naked. sold it a few years ago. I was really needing a bike again so craigslist saved the day. I travel alot and trying to set up a bike on the cheap for cheap travel. crazy thing to my dad apparently worked for vetter in the early 80s.

Welcome to the forum! As far as the mounting bracket goes, ebay or Craigslist. There is a website out there (I can't find it right now) that has a bunch of Vetter stuff listed also. If I find it, I'll post it.

Oh, and I like the adventure cruiser idea!
