Vetter Aficionado

On Thursday, I had the Vettered bike out on the first distinctly chilly day since fitting it and the lowers. I noticed that whenever it had been sitting for say, ten or fifteen minutes it fired into life right away, first touch of the starter. The fairing, tank and lowers are combining to keep a blanket of warm air around the engine and carb when its at rest, making starting easy. There is a limit, of course, and after 40 minutes or so, the effect goes away, especially if there's a bit of a cold breeze blowing.
Others in colder climes with notice this less, of course, but it suits me fine. This engine was always a bit slow to rekindle after a rapid cool-down in the winter stops in town.
