Vetter breaker UK Shipping

Hi, does anyone know of a US dealer / breaker that ships large items such as a fairing to the UK, looking for a Windjammer or similar and mount for my Z1000ST (KZ1000 Shaft) (KZ1000E). Almost impossible to find anything here in the UK.

Hmmm, thats a good question. What about the folks selling on eBay. Do they offer any over seas shipping? What are you looking for specifically? Any particular series of Windjammer? What year is your bike?

Probably a 4 in black or the ones that were made specifically for Kawasaki later on, I did find the one below on Ebay but when I contacted the guy he did not want the problems of shipping to the UK which is understandable.
Bike is 1980 Z1000ST, about the same as the KZ1000 Shaft "ST" or "E" from the same period. Probably be able to make a bracket from a Z1000 MK2 fit also.

Hmm... This will require some thought. I have a black SS just collecting dust. It isn't complete as it is missing a windscreen and some other pieces, but the major pieces are there: shell, headlight, etc. You interested?

I could well be, do you have a photo and which parts are missing please? Missing parts that would be a minor problem for you to source there maybe difficult to get here. Does the screen need to be for a "4" or "SS" or would another model fit?

All windjammer screens are the same, not all Vetter screens, but all windjammer screens. Craig's websight has a link to a windscreen manufacturer for a new one, otherwise it's eBay or kind soul on here that has a spare.

Let me get through the holidays and dig it out of the attic. I paid nothing for it, so that is what I want for it. As Rob stated, any WJ windscreen will work. Here is a vendo also:

I also have a Windjammer IV. Its an odd mounting system. The fairing is in very good condition. Check out this thread in regards to it. They say its a Kawi fairing, however it says Windjammer on it. Mounts that were Kawi style I guess.

If its complete it may be a easier option than getting parts to finish one off here although I am open to any suggestions, am I right in thinking the main difference is the lowers are specific to the 5 only?

Specific to the 5 only which makes them a little harder to find. Everything else (mounting, wiring) is the same. the only apparent difference is the black plastic frame (for lack of a proper term) that surrounds the head-light.

Thanks for that, I have also been looking at a mounting kit which I may be able to source from a dealer in the US for $80 including shipping it is a Kawasaki part K46000-304 for the KZ1000e, would anyone know if the Kawasaki fairing had the same mounting points as a WJ please?
