I would like to have one, but all the ones I have seen are a bit spendy, plus I will have to put even more into a resto. Ill just keep looking for the more local deal.

Yeah, sometimes I think people ask more than is reasonable, at least to me. I have noticed a general trend of prices going up on eBay lately. Might just be what I'm looking at.
Guess I'll hang on to mine for at least a couple of years and see if the value skyrockets.
I offered it to a couple of people that were interested in it, a while back (sub $1K) and nothing panned out. Might be a blessing in disguise.
I got a "deal" so it's not hurting anything right where it is.

I think the price is to high. Maybe if it was complete I could see paying that kind of price , but is missing a lot of hard to find key parts.

Dang, that price does look high. Just pick a terraplane up for $500. Need to make bike mounts and redo upostery. But the original is there for a pattern, Eve got the tongue cover
