XJ900F Windjammer bracket

A happenstance discovery - the Suzuki GS850 WJ bracket is a nearly perfect match for the downtubes on the Yamaha XJ900F frame (that would be the XJ900RK of 1983 for US readers) that was sold in Europe until 1994. The U-bolt fixings at the top will probably need shifted slightly, but they're close.
The only drawback is the oil cooler; it would have to be relocated to a bracket welded to front of the fairing bracket. Should I decide to fit the Vetter on this bike, it looks relatively easy to do, with not much messing about.
Otoh, I have a nice BMW K- RT fairing sitting spare...

The 850s never had one as standard, although some owners fitted them, in later years easily sourcing them from larger GSs in breakers' yards.
