(SOLD) Unused Quicksilver fairing, Los Angeles area. $150.

I bought a Suzuki GS650G in 1981. In '82 I bought a Vetter Quicksilver fairing for it. It's been sitting in one garage or another since then, unopened. If anyone is interested in a local pick-up at a low price, let me know and I'll dig it out and take pictures.

Hello. Sorry for the late reply. Your email went to spam. Yes, I still have the fairing. My understanding is that the fairing is generic, but the brackets are specific to the model of bike. Mine is for various Suzuki models around 1981. I don't know if it would fit the Honda.

The biggest difference between different brackets is whether they're made for single- or double-down-tube frames. I was able to adapt a bracket for an early DOHC Honda 750 to my '96 Nighthawk 750.

That's really nice! The one I picked up a few years ago is new but without its box.

Great. I didn't look in the pockets but I assume all that stuff is in there. It's the first time it's been out of the box.

Yeah, nice to look at something brand new that's 40 years old! The only imperfection I see is some marks on the fairing (you can see them in the photos. My theory is they came from the plastic bag where it was in contact with the fairing, along with being in a hot garage for decades. They might buff or polish out.
