1979 KZ1300 referb/restyle

Hi all, for past few months we've been recommissioning a Vettor KZ1300 for a regular client who fully intends using it for 2-up touring around Oz (Australia).

Sitting idle for many years the old girl needed a lot of love & no shortage of creativity with many missing items, but also a restyle up front as the bike could not use the original WJ fairing. Having just completed this big lady I'm posting a few pics, and also in appreciation of the help we found in this great group.

That's quite a different headlamp.

The KZ 1300 was the tool of stuntrider
Arto Nyqvist. Bike painted in yellow and always had its tail lamp lens crushed!

Hi Kjell, yes the headlamp needed to make a statement, a normal 6-8" lamp was lost in the bulk of the bike. The rear luggage box is so dominate we needed something up front to balance the aesthetics.
