Terraplane Question From a New Member

I am hoping to get an answer as to the ballpark value of a Terraplane. The sidecar is currently being removed from my Dad's '87 Electra Glide which I inherited after his passing and unless the shop doing the removal has a buyer it will be listed for sale SOON. But I have absolutely ZERO idea of what the value of it may be aside from the old "It's worth what someone will pay for it!". The unit is in very good condition as far as I can tell. I thank you all in advance for any help / input you can give me.

Can you show us some pictures? What set of hardware was used for mounting? Serial number? Why separate? I paid $1750 for mine with a naked ‘82 Wing. Sold the non running bike for $500. That was 4 years ago. Look at past listings on eBay for other TP hacks and prices. More around here will add their values.

I have tried multiple times to attach / add pics to my original post and they won't load. I will try again in this reply. As for why separate? I've tried riding with a sidecar and it's not for me and the bike is a quite rare FLHTC Special Edition that I am keeping. The forum is still not loading any pics I try to add.

I have just recondition #000283 stripping off old paint, repainted gloss black, powdered coated frame new caliper and master cylinder, LED lighting, 2 1/4 gal fuel reserve , while these are not rare they are hard to find, and no blue book value, from a replacement Insurance, it worth est. $3500, i think actual sell price would be est $2500.

Thank you for the input, that's the range I was thinking from what I've seen in past sales popping up in searches. The number on the plate of mine is 07-100110.
