I didn't know until recently that Terraplane's were setup for specific bikes. The two lower mounts are all the same but the adjustable strut was placed at differing points along the side depending on the appropriate attachment point of the motorcycle's frame. From what I understand you can't move it without messing up the sidecar's support frame. I went to have a look at one and figured out it would just not attach to my Honda VT600 due to the placement of the strut. I rode my bike to look at it and was able to park it beside the Terraplane in his driveway. Nope! No way it would mount because the strut was located at the very back of it where my bike has no frame member at all. Just a flimsy support for the fender and rear lights.
