Nice Paul! I like the blacked out chrome of the exhaust and engine guards. As hard as those guards are to find, some of the purists might not like them, but I'm not a purist. :D

thank you , I like the look as well. I seen a 76 with to much black. I think this is a even balance not a lot of chrome on it. With the Midnight Blue color, polished Aluminum . She is looking good. I am also glad the wife don' t mind the money spent in this way. She loves the open road an the roar of the pipes. Most important thing she tells me is, She will NOT ride on another bike without a fairing out front. I tell her If we get another one yes it will have a fairing. Hope to have it back together (complete) May sometime. That will be all most brand new on what counts,, Not the best picture, But you can have a look. I need to touch up a few things yet. Dust on the surface not in the paint..

Just setting things on the bike to have a idea what she will look like. Just wish the money was here to finish it up quick . I will have new pictures to post come first of the week or by mid week.

Hope to have the bike back together first of the week. Installed my Dyna Coils . so now all Dyna set up . From top to bottom. Looking good will post as soon as I can Been busy whit things. Everyone have a great weekend..

You are finishing up with your ignition woes and I am getting ready to soon start with mine. Every time I look at my C5 ignition sitting in the box, I want to get busy on it, but I am still waiting for a few warm days of riding so I can get some base line figures before I do the swap.

c5 ignition wow that's extra special cool getting some wet weather down here today not making it fun for painting

I am excited about it, but I want to get some things first: before and after mpg figures, acceleration, rpm versus mph with the 32 year old ignition and the C5 ignition, and some video of the annoying missed spark that these OldWings have. I can't afford a dyno run, but I can video a few things and post it on Youtube so others can see the results that the C5 provides.

Cool looking forward to seeing the videos a friend of mine from one of the forms I go to posted some videos on YouTube up the c5 ignition parently you can get some awesome power curve advantages out of it so that's super awesome good deal my man..

here is my bike with the dyna set up. there is an leak in the exhaust gasket. turning over 500 rmps or so have a look I pulled plugs 1 an 3 to check spark color and it kept running till i killed it hot hot spark

the coils you are running., are you using the NGK BOOTS I took mine out, What I did do tho was take the rubbers off of them put them on the new wires . slid them down to the rain boot. there is enough for a nice wet free fit

Cool video Paul! You should title it correctly on youtube that way other folks can search it and find it on Youtube.

Right now everything on my 1100 is stock the way it rolled off the floor 33 years ago. The C5 ignition kit comes complete... I think everything except the spark plugs. I have to open it up to make sure about that much.

As I thought. The C5 kit comes with wires already made up with 800 ohm leads and plug caps and configured for use with resistor type spark plugs.

A nice tidy package and I will FINALLY get rid of the snap, crackle, and POP every time I am riding in the rain. :D

Man that is fancy.. I heard some about this kit. A friend told me he himself had posted utube videos . Super cool..

not sure if you seen this yet. I found some really cool L.E.D Setups. I found the bulbs for the rear trunk x5 also motorcycle running and brake. $$$$ tho. But takes So much load off the bike. Looking into them for the gauges all of them found them individual L.E.D Any leads...????

There are a couple of guys that have the C5 on their Wings over at ClassicsGoldWings.com. I Was able to see one on a bike that is a 1000 running a 1200 motor with 1000 heads. After seeing that and listening to the guy that owns C5, I was sold... Just had to wait for the money to pile up for it.
