    Hello from Devon

Welcome from the land downunder, you have a name? We've got a fully Vetted KZ1300 in the lab, sans windjammer as the owner had us remove it, understandable given he lives in Sydney & traffic so bad you damm near have to lane-split just to get out of your own street! We have video's of wiring...

1980 KZ 1000 full Vetter kit

I don't know for sure, but I think one of our Australian clients removed his windjammer fairing, if so he is likely to have the brackets. No idea if he'll part with them, but even pics might help if you're redesigning. All you can do is ask. His name is Gavin, and his email...

    Trike build with windjammer 4

Well done Tony, that's a serious project. Knowing AU regs & its petty bureaucracies as well as I do, an enormous achievement to get to street registration!!! Congrats & enjoy!!

    Possibly the oldest existing Liberator

Through this forum I would imagine, I'm not in the US, but as with earlier members wanted to sell fairings etc, cost of shipping around the states was the biggest hurdle.

Hi Tony, I took your advice & tried to contact Gert Roewer on faceache. I found two such names but both have the type of page or account that restricts messaging. I sent a friend request but I know that personally, I seldom accept such requests without prior notice, so I may get similar...

    1979 KZ1300 referb/restyle

Hi Kjell, yes the headlamp needed to make a statement, a normal 6-8" lamp was lost in the bulk of the bike. The rear luggage box is so dominate we needed something up front to balance the aesthetics.

I've accumulated a few too many Vetter fairings...

Is there no dealer/bike shop/tuner that has become a great source of Vetter parts & assistance over there? I can absolutely understand KGB's comments about freight, I'd hate to imagine cost to ship one out of the US!!

    1979 KZ1300 referb/restyle

Hi all, for past few months we've been recommissioning a Vettor KZ1300 for a regular client who fully intends using it for 2-up touring around Oz (Australia). Sitting idle for many years the old girl needed a lot of love & no shortage of creativity with many missing items, but also a restyle up...

    G'day from down-under

Hi Tony, I've been in Thailand for 3 weeks hence the sow reply. The red thing is a Rau. Years back, when we were building lots of smaller capacity customs, we wanted to build larger capacity bikes so after scouring the globe we bought a number or Rau frames/bikes. Here's a bit of info on...

    G'day from down-under

Hi Tony & Kjell, sorry for late reply, I have been away riding the Aussie bush :) Thanks Tony for the reference to Gert, I'll definitely reach out if we have more head-scratching & I'll pass on his details to my client, for same reason. Love the trike!! Was this built under ICV legislation...

Hi there Chuck, I don't suppose you have an image of the top box mounting brackets? Am I correct in assuming the slotted bracket left of pic is what fixes to underside of top box?
