    Trike build with windjammer 4

most important thing is once electric connection is pulled out and bolts taken off the fairing just sits there waiting to be lifted off as its quite heavy. Then placed back on and remains there so you dont have to lift it much to bolt it on. I originally built the trike with the Fury and as...

    Trike build with windjammer 4

I used clamps like this onto the frame then welded up mounts with angle steel. Must be strong. There's a frame made up that runs from the round tank mounts all the way to under the headlight that has a steel plate for one bolt. When I undo that bolt and the 4 side bolts under, the whole fairing...

    Trike build with windjammer 4

Trike is finished with vtx1800c bike. Fury has abs brakes which was problematic due to Aussie rules. More power.

    Trike build with windjammer 4

Will keep it. The easiest way to match the orange (2011 fury colour matt metallic orange) it to get a few decals. The budget doesnt extend to repaint. The cost of the vtx wasnt expected. So maybe subtle flames ... and they'll cover a few scratches

Modifying windjammer 4 for modern wide forks

That's ok Bass. Actually appreciate you mentioning it. I'll take my chances now and if it does fall out there no harm done because wherever there's filler its painted black, not seen from an observers view. In Oz the engineering process is ridiculous so much $$ on the project hence the easy...

Modifying windjammer 4 for modern wide forks

Yeh no choice. The batwing fairing are interior imo and they turn with the bars, not what I wanted.

    Trike build with windjammer 4

For those interested I swapped motorcycles on this trike. All Honda Fury's in Australia have ABS brakes. It is very difficult to add a 3rd wheel to ABS and you should get Transport approval prior to modifying it and approval might not be given as the law states "ABS cannot be removed nor...

Modifying windjammer 4 for modern wide forks

As many of you know Im triking a Honda vtx1800C. It was a Honda Fury but... abs brakes standard in all Fury's here in Oz meant many issues triking it. So, no trainer buy an 1800 and swap bikes. A big issue was the width of the front forks. I hated cutting into the vettor but had no option. About...

My trike is under ICV Victoria. Should be registered by March 2026. Im going to add fairing lowers eventually but not vetter, my own long ones. I think the vetter looks much better than the modern batwing things Tony
