Take your spare fairing, mount it onto a cycle stand, change bulb types for LED and add a LED 230V - 12V driver, wire up, plug in and switch on! and you have a standing floor lamp like the one below.
There has just been about 50 mounts and brackets newly listed on eBay from a US seller, the link to one of them is below take a look at the rest of his items.

Built into the turn signal unit is a grill that I assume is where the air horn option would sit behind. If this option is not installed is there normally a blanking cover behind these grills or as mine just a piece of foam rubber to stop the water coming in?
Just had my other bike put through its yearly test and asked the MOT tester about my Kawasaki with the Vetter SS fairing as regards lighting requirements.
He said that the UK law states that if the motorcycle has "always on" main head lights as many newer bikes such as my Honda have there is no...
Found this on eBay US, New and only $14.95 BIN, it says its a Torque Commuter Windjammer and is being sold with a Vetter set of installation instructions, another interesting thing is if you look at one of the pictures it appears to have 2 locking hard covers for the side pockets which appear to...
Hopefully going to have the time to mount the SS later this week and a couple of questions please, does a WJ have a rubber vibration gasket between the bottom of the fairing and the top of the frame mounting bars normally? If so I will make a couple. Also is there normally plastic or rubber...
Found this TAA fairing on eBay US see description below, seems to use Vetter parts?

Vintage Cyclesound fairing with Vetter lower. In very nice...
I have had some sucess using Devcon Plastic Welder for repairs on different fairings recently, it sets very quickly and can be used to glue stuff together or build up areas that have been damaged which then can be sanded and drilled.
I believe it is probably easier to obtain in the US than here...
First time I have had a chance to see one of these close up, there a 4 "dimples" inside the front of the fairing and 2 more by the name badge, do these have a function such as drilling points when fitting extras like sound system or are they just moulding marks? I am sure one of you...
Ok, I said I had to stop buying but that didn't last long, going to have a look at this tomorrow evening, its got one mounting holes damaged but may still be usable, asking price is about $36 in your money.
Unusually just found these on eBay UK, bit pricey and will need some work but look like most of it is there. Just waiting for seller to respond as to what bike its from but it looks like a Kawasaki fairing mount from the other pictures.
I currently have listed for sale on Ebay a trailer towing hitch for what I believe is a GL1000 it came with a "job lot" of parts, anyone ever fitted one? This one is made by a company in the UK called Freewheel UK Ltd and sells new for about £245 as a bare frame, they also do a stainless...
No sure if the WJ has inserts for the fairing pockets but Rickman did not do them, got fed up with fishing stuff out from around the headlight so came up with this, just the tryout version at the moment but now I have the right shape I can maybe make some better ones.
The liners below are made...
Another British Pantera fairing called the Laser bit smaller version for a Honda CB400 Superdream, Vetter, Rickman and Pantera all seem to look pretty similar from around the 70's and 80's. Its a shame noboby still produces a quality touring fairing anywhere anymore.
I have not purchased this...
I now have a British made Pantera touring fairing from 70's 80's, came at no cost with some other bits, found a brochure picture for it as well. I also have the mounting frame which I believe is for a GL1000.
Now ask me why I wanted it or what I am going to use it for and there will be silence!!!
I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but the Vetter Trunk mounting plate I have seems to have the same 4 hole mounting pattern dimensions as the Vetter Windjammer fairing mount, if so may be useful to someone making up their own WJ mount?
Just purchased this set of boxes, will be the next project for the Z1000ST when the fairing is finally completed. I already have a good trunk fitted so will just be using the side boxes.
May need some mounting info help from you guys when I get to that stage as they currently came with just some...
After recently recieving a defective WJ frame from the US I sent a message to the seller and I am happy to say I have been given a refund, it does not cover the Customs charges or help with getting the fairing fitted but thought it worth a mention that there are good sellers out there willing to...
