Hello Vetter friends, I'm going to purchase a set of saddle bags witrh brackets coming from a GL1200. On this bike the bags seem to be mounted with bolts and nuts to the brackets. Is this the original way to put the sadlle bags on a bike? Or is there any kind of a quick on/quick off lock...

I Know they are specific - but I have a good welding machine. Therefore any will do... Dieter

The above mentioned lenses are plug and play. You just need two bolts M30x3 with nut and shim.

Hi - the diameter of the lenses is about 85-90mm. Found something on ebay and ordered. with some luck I just need to put the lenses from those ebay lights on my trunk. http://www.ebay.de/itm/201249997761 Dieter

Can anybody tell me the exact diameter and distance of mounting holes for the lenses installed in the trunk? I could by a trunk in good condition - but with all lenses missing. Looking for a replacements and found already some lenses with 100mm diameter. The already mentioned Blazer B55UW Metal...

Welding day today....working on the brackets...looking good. Fairing will be in a quite steep angle - but it looks good. And I could purchase a cycle sound....next step after having the fairing mounted. Dieter Dieter

OK - I'm with you. Fork is OK, enough clearance. Tank is fat - but when the fairing is back max it ends roughly at the middle of cylinder head. Looking at classic bikes - that's nearly the same.
