Yeah, no pics......didn't happen!:p Don't have to be pretty.

    unknown fairing gl 1100

Kinda looks like an Arthur Fulmer. No idea if there were ever lowers for it.

    running/driving lights

There was a driving lights mount, as seen in the left pic, that attached to the fairing mount. I don't remember if it was a vetter product or not, as I haven't seen one for decades. In the right pic, a previous owner had cut through the lowers and bolted to the fairing mount along with a second...

    Vetterize a 78 GL1000

Just from what I can see, there are several aftermarket items on there, besides the Vetter equipment. 1. king/queen seat. 2. rider floorboards. Most likely coupled with a heel/toe shifter. 3. passenger floorboards. 4. oops bars or engine protectors. I hate to call them crash bars due to...

    Vetterize a 78 GL1000

A couple of things to consider. 1. There is very little difference between the 78 and 79 GL1000 Goldwings. Most obvious are the turn signals (rectangular instead of round) and the 'spokes' on the wheels are slightly different. Very very little was changed as Honda was concentrating their...

    Vetterize a 78 GL1000

A lot of those "chrome bits and goodies" are replacing OEM parts that are just as hard to find. For what you have previously described, this is not the one you want. A nice bike and price for what it is, but lots of OEM parts to source and not a '78.

    CB900F Torque Commuter Windjammer ?

I also have not heard of this fairing before. I however feel it is NOT a Vetter product.

    Cycle Sound Harley Davidson?

A couple of things.... 1. He has some BIG ones trying to sell something that busted up. 2. I have no idea of all the fairings/bikes cycle sounds were made for, but from my experience, just because it was removed from a (insert bike name here), doesn't mean it was designed for it. 3. A cycle...

    Vetter Sound for Honda

Hondaline GL1100 Goldwing, GL500 & GL650 Silverwing, maybe more from that time frame 1980-1983 (more?) As they were designed for early 80's bikes, post Craig, I'd guess Vetter Sound.

    Calling All Vetter Keys

I'd have to say that depends on the lock. Most of the DIY store locks I've messed with, removing the cam allows the plug to fall out the front. My experience with the OEM vetter locks, I've had to 'drive' the plug out from the back. This usually means that the lock plug is now held in by the...

    Calling All Vetter Keys

I also am not giving up, but my assets are limited. Not trying to put words in Craig's mouth, but logically I feel the 'different versions' are related to economics. When purchasing locks (lock sets) in quantity, a few cents here and there adds up on your bottom line. Same with the 'new owners'...

    Calling All Vetter Keys

Well I'm pretty much at a standstill. 1. Locks and keys I personally own are extremely limited. 2. To purchase a supply of key blanks, in quantity to get better pricing, would cost me about $125-$150. Not having all of the 'brands' used on hand, there is some guessing on the blanks required...

    Vetter boxes for Z1000ST

I didn't even know gold was an option, (the pic looked like chrome to me) so I agree. Finding gold trunk Texas Trim, especially in good to perfect condition, will be a challenge. With much deeper pockets than mine, I'm sure someone could re-plate some trunk Texas Trim in gold? Actual gold...

    Windjammer SS

Well if you were looking for it, that chrome trim around the bottom of the windshield is probably worth the asking price. Not a Vetter product, AFAIK, and I don't see them often. Even without it, probably worth it in parts. I have cut way back on looking, too dangerous financially!;)

    Windjammer on a GL1200

Saw a mount for an '84 GL1200 on eBay about a year ago. $140.00 shipped IIRC. Suspect few were made.

    My 1977 Honda GoldWing

Too many? I thought 3 was a minimum.:p Good luck with that. Most of mine started for a c-note or less. Unfortunately I also have the space. I have 3 in various stages of together and enough parts to make 3+ more.:) And then the Vetter stuff. Can't afford to service and maintain...

    My 1977 Honda GoldWing

MMS (also referred to as MBS) is a condition that has many different strains, VOGS being one of them (I also have MGS, multiple goldwings syndrome.) No cure and you can have several strains at the same time making the diagnosis more complicated. There does seem to be relationship to...

    NOS Cycle Sound for GL1100

Well he needs to get his facts straight. Title says, "HONDA CYCLE SOUND GL1100 MODELS WITH HONDA FAIRING NOS VINTAGE" But in the description, "THIS IS A NOS CYCLE SOUND FOR INTERSTATE 1984-1985" 84-87 were GL1200's not 1100's. Never seen that one before. I think I still have one for a GL1100...

A call for Vetter serial numbers

Can't say much about them. Were with a bunch of stuff I got a couple of years ago (so was the Terraplane) that only cost me a 105 mile each way road trip. http://www.ngwclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=45146 One of the few cycle (vetter) sounds I've had with OEM speakers and grills still...

    1979 XS11 De-Vetterized

I was thinking just AVetter, But you don't have just "A" Vetter, you have lots of them.;) "LotsOfVetterAndNoBikeToAttach" seems a little long for a name.:D I'd just leave it as is, at least until/unless you make a future determination of 'never' owing an XS again.
