Sadly, Vetter gear is not in demand today, so they don't command much money. Also, they are brutally expensive to ship. I would advertise them for sale locally.

You don't often see a matched set like that in such good condition, especially in the rare Kawasaki-branded arrangement. Exactly what bike was it on, and do yo have the mounting brackets?

It was on my 1980 kz1000 Ltd. And yes the mounting bracket is included.

Try advertising them on a Kawasaki KZ forum.
Yes people took them Vetter kits of when they fell out of fashion or the owner renovated their old 'Kwacker' back to as factory issued.

But as tide always turns so do trends.
Some owners are now looking for items that were periodic correct or typical for that specific machine like in your case, a complete set of Vetter traveling gear.
Don't know how things progress in US but here in parts of Europe Vetter parts or kits are slowly becoming sought after items.

And they still work as a charm when touring long stretches (as I'm sure You know).

God Luck with the sale!

I know I would buy them items in a blink if I was located closer, and then a Z1000LTD is a lot easier to find over here than the complete set your selling!

Note: You guys call them 'KZ', but in Europe they are called just 'Z' and nicknamed 'Zed'
