I have been looking, and slowly finding parts of the full Vetter kit to go onto my bike. My latest additions are lowers. I had to modify them to fit with the engine guard I am running. I had the smaller one that set back, but it hindered my foot position to the rear brake and shifter. The reason I bought this bike is to ride in the winter months when I don't care to ride my other bike in the sand and salt. Funny thing is, I have really come to love riding the old Honda, very good memories of days gone by.
Any how, I was able to notch the lowers for the engine guard. The first test ride was a success! Wow, no cold wind on my shins! Even with lowers on both my Harley and my Indian there is always a gap with a bat wing fairing that allows cold air to get to knees and shins.
Also, I don't feel to bad about cutting the lowers, someone had cut the rear portion off that goes against the engine long before I got them. For winter use, it actually works out as I can feel warm air from the engine on the under side of my legs. Bonus!
