Just finished mounting s/n 498 to my 83 GL1100 Interstate. Hack is in great shape, but brakes are a bit gone. I actually poured dust out of master cylinder. With Airheart no longer supporting the smaller systems. I resorted to buying new MCP Brake Systems 18875 Brake Master Cylinder, 7/8 Inch Bore. Haven't completed rebuilding brake system. Will modify Vetter mounting plate to mount MCP while I get a new one with correct hole placement cut by local fab shop. Got lucky with the caliper. It was wet and orings are in good shape. Just tore down and rebuild with same parts. Will post again later once I get finished.

Note: Airheart says they might still have some components and pieces llying around.

I'm waiting on 10Mx1.25 coupler nut for shock extention. Took me two days to get bike side brackets mounted. TP came of off naked 81 GL1100. Brackets were correct, but all my spacing was different with crash bars and floor boards. Started loosely mounting trim grip bracket. Worked down and to the front with brackets and then back again twice to get everything lined up. $75 worth of hardware!!

Also got right side saddle bag remounted. Easy fix. Just move bag back a few inches with angle iron mounted to exisiting Honda brackets and drill new holes.

This is my second TP. I bought new 82 Aspencade and TP back a couple of life times ago. Great adventures for over five years. Can't wait to get rig completed and road ready.

Looks great.
It's just a pity that TPs never made it across the pond, and it would have been prohibitively expensive to retool for a left-mounted one.
It's one of the very few sidecars I like the look of.
