Vetter Aficionado

My family has had a few Vetters throughout the years starting around 1980 with my dad's 1979 Yamaha XS 1100. The PO had installed the SS and saddle bags, dad added the cycle sound and tail trunk. Dad put alot of miles on Fred (the XS) over the years as the only weather that kept him off of it was ice and snow. He repainted Fred midnight blue with gold flake - unfortunately I can't find any of those pictures right now.
I know he would have been proud of my finding my 1978 Goldwing full dress setup, I just wish he could've stuck around a little longer to see it. I am currently trying to decide what color to paint my '78, I was going to mimick my dad's old paint job until my mom said my bike looked "eerily" like dads...
I had one other Vetter, a Quicksilver, mounted on a 1972 Yamaha XS 650, I don't have any pictures of that bike as it continually tried to kill me every chance it got. Unfortunately the Quicksilver met its demise one night halfway through a back road corner where the county decided to start gravelling and didn't bother to post any signs!
