Wanting the luggage, trunk, trunk tail chrome trim. That go's @ the left and right of both the trunk and bags new NOS. or old in good shape. as well as the rear trunk tail.

I seen this too I did contact this guy to find out what he had. I he also told me he was going to a Vetter swap meet to look at somethings that were there in bulk (so he said) I took down his number and will be staying in contact with him.. Paul, what condition are you looking to get the parts in? I may have some but I think they have pitting and rust...
 
Just something clean I know there old but mine are so bad I had to paint the ones that mount to the bags, Tha's the ones I need to change really. I painted them a red color I picked up a used trunk for the rear trim piece . Just hope my mail carrier don't loose it \..
 
I think so, but not really sure. I know for the bags on my 1200 I had to paint one of the bars and it looks ugly as sin, so I will most likely powder coat all of them. Not me personally but take them all to a local powder coating shop and let them do their thing.

I picked upa used new trunk with good chrome It has a lock and a key with all the lights in it wiring harness inside is untouched just a great find. I will keep it as parts have a look..vetter 1.jpg this is in good shape. The lenses will come back nice I know how to fix them It has a leather tie don't know if it came this way.

Looks like you had a good find there, I think they all normally had a spring to keep them open, thats what mine came with.
 
I did some closer looking at it. That's been there awhile. Plus there is small 35mm film cases zip tied to the harness and the tape is untouched. No extra holes in it either. Even the screws backed out clean. It must have spent its years in a body shop. Covered with over spray and dust.

Did the film case have any purpose? I was really lucky with mine, bought it off Ebay here in the UK which is rare anyway and when it came it had never been fitted, still had the external wiring harness and spare key in a plastic bag inside the trunk. The guy said he had had it sprayed many years ago to match a BMW but never got around to fit it after. It was "badly" listed on Ebay so I snapped it up for £30.

The film cases arre for spare bulbs. Sounds like a great find. I seen the listing, its was a new listing) for the one I picked up guy had make offer I sent him a prvt message to see what he was looking for so 65.00 did it and covered shipping..
