any suggestions on how to get the panels off? also any suggestions on what to do with this dark spot between the tail lights? looks like they had a sticker or something there and peeled it off.

And, is there a way to get all the keys to match each other, if I buy this one, it comes with a matching key for trunk and glove box lid, but is there a way to match it to the saddle bags?

is it possible to get the painted panels off, to repaint them? I think I found one in really good shape, but its 200 for the box, the hardware, and a lid for the glove box

I could easily fabricate that if it didn't come with the trunk

I have the windjammer and side boxes on my 1980 Suzuki GS1000G. My bike has a sissy bar, with a luggage rack on it. how hard would it be to take off the sissy bar and and luggage rack and replace it with a trunk box?

take a bolt or measure so you can get long bolts so you can compensate for the thicker spacing

I'd recommend, take a bolt with you, or measure. go to a home depo, or lowes, get some half inch or 1 inch square tubing, measure your holes, drill them, and cut the tube to length, and cap the ends, that way you don't have a pressure point, and its distributed along the rail of the mounting...

I haven't checked to see if I can move the brackets up, where they attatch to the frame. I will, but for now, I just put washers in between the brackets and the fairing, as a spacer.

Are the windjammer fairings supposed to have rubber shock absorbers between the fairing and the mounting brackets? Just curious, cause my vetter soundbox is rubbing my dash gauges when I turn the bars, I've tried to adjust but no luck.
