(SOLD) Unused Quicksilver fairing, Los Angeles area. $150.

That is awesome. You never find them in that condition. If I had a use for it I would be all over it. Hope you guys can connect. If so, I want to see pictures of the finished bike. Ken

Hi (again) as I used to be a member when this site first started ....

Yes. That is me. I've just spent the last 45 minutes reading your FB page. It looks like you had it rough right from the start. I wish you fast healing, and hope you get a second shot at your trip. Ken

Can you tell us the circumstances of the accident? Also, I just sent a request to join your FB group. Ken

Hi (again) as I used to be a member when this site first started ....

I think a Windjammer would look and function great on one of the newer Enfields. Just have to fabricate the bracket.

    Modified Hippo Hands ......

I've been thinking about doing something similar to mine. The later versions actually had a slit there. How hard was it to sew through the material? Ken

    Tail Trunk Liner

It does make it rather heavy, and most of the liner is musty and in poor condition, so I am going to remove it when I restore the trunk. It is interesting though. I may put in a lighter and simpler replacement.

    Tail Trunk Liner

I just picked up a Vetter tail trunk that I will restore and put on one of my Suzukis. I've never had a tail trunk before and this one came with a thoroughly installed furry liner. It is worn, but very well fitted and installed. It also has some foam padding under the fabric. Is this...

Touring is better with Vetter (Pic)

I got mine on Amazon. I have two bikes with the same headlight and could not be happier. I also have both equipped with headlight modulators, and these work well with LED capable modulators. Link to LED Headlight - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019I0UBLU/ Link to Headlight Modulator -...

Which Windjammer is this...about to scoop it up.

I think a WJ would look awesome on an Interceptor. It is the bike that today looks most like the "standards" of the '70s.

    All things must end :(

Tom, That is just awful to hear, especially after doing such a beautiful job putting your bike together. Keep your chin up and heal quickly. Ken

Not bad for 'proof of concept.' Ken

Which Windjammer is this...about to scoop it up.

I don't weld, so for me it would be easier to modify the fairing. How much are we talking? Just a few millimeters or much more? On both of my bikes, the fairing fits just under the front of the tank, so there is no interference. I will try to remember to take pictures when I get home. Where...

    New guy says Hi.

I don't think that you will need to make too many modifications to the bike, other than removing the headlight nacelle. Get a factory mounting bracket for any bike and use that as a starting point. Modify the bracket to fit the bike. Did you see Craig's page on making custom brackets for...

Which Windjammer is this...about to scoop it up.

The WJ4 and the SS are nearly identical. I've looked at both and have never been able to find the difference if there is one. What bike are you planning on mounting it on? Ken

I think that is the same LED headlight I have, too.

New Cycle sound shell and speakers sale on Ebay.

Wow, I've never come across one in the original box. I have two or three CycleSounds. I haven't had one on a bike in many years. Since I switched to helmet speakers they seemed unnecessary. Ken

    Groovy headlight adjuster

That is cool. I have never seen one like that. It certainly captures the vibe of the late 60s early 70s. Ken

    Mounting Brackets

No, no, no. Craig is still around. He has had a rough couple of years, but the last I have heard he is still around. I believe he is working on his memoirs. Ken

Old luggage on an old Suzuki

The springs in those locking mechanisms go bad after a while. Craig sells replacements. His on-line store was down for a while. I'm not sure if he is taking new orders yet. https://www.craigvetter.com/pages/Online_Store/Replacement_Parts/Details.html#anchor
