I like the older versions of the WJ where the turn signals were not built into the fairing, so I lean away from the WJ 5 and towards the Vindicator.

The SS's were made from 1977 through 1979. Your serial number is right in the middle of serial numbers of 24-200459 thru 24-281175. Link As you can see, 24-233414 was made 1978, so that would make yours later in the run for the SS's. Oh yeah, Welcome to the site!

The issue with any bike made post 1985-ish is that the mounts were never designed for that specific bike, so modifications are going to be needed to get the fairing mounted the correct way. The good news is, it can be done...

There isn't much to the mounting bracket. Just a piece of flat stock with a few holes drilled in either end and a slight bend in it at a place to make the enclosure fit at the right place and angle.
