Mine is a "Kawasaki by Vetter" fairing, it looks very much Windjammer, but I don't know if it's like any of them or not. "Red" is an '83 KZ1100 A-3 that came optioned/installed from the dealer with the "Kawasaki by Vetter" fairing/tail trunk/hard bags, this wasn't a later add on. So not sure...

Having a "Terraplane" on "Red" would eliminate the need for a "toad" for my old converted school bus/RV, and it would promote marital harmony by allowing the YF to ride with me in style and comfort along with our designated poochie... A real win! Mark

And to think I contemplated buying a Ural... hoh... I'd rather find a Terraplane and pair it up with "Red"... the only problem would be finding one... and the parts for it that need to be replaced periodically, like the heim joints and the "Trim" control device... Mark

Great looking set of gear, BeachedSquirrel! I got a set of "deer whistles" on my fairing too. The saddlebags have some kinda trim on the covers- is it "stick on" or what? One of my bags was cracked, and I used a "Hotcha" kit from Craig's site to repair it very nicely. Mark

Brian, I decided against the "Jetcockpit" and am now looking for a Cycle Sound for mine. I'll go with a "mech-less" head unit with a usb/mp3/card reader port, and do that. I have another idea for the 2 meter/70cm rig. Mark

Agree with that, Brian. I hate suits. I look like I need clearance lights and turn signals. And a strobe on top. A crappy day of wrenching and problem wrangling is better than two good days at work! But I agree. A ride beats wrenching hands down. One hour in the saddle is better than that one...
