I'm looking for a replacement Windjammer after I "broke" mine following the recent accident I'm UK based and am looking for either a "III" or an "SS"

Next time will be my third time but taking a 50 year old triple up into the Arctic in winter is proving a "difficult nut to crack". I guess you've probably seen now that I've managed to have some pretty "big" adventures on my old W/J equipped triples - Iron Butt Rally finisher, Africa...

I guess you're Kenneth ? It was a rear wheel blowout. Instant deflation and sent the backend wobbling which quickly translated into a front end "tank slapper". The camber was against me (the outfit is obviously set up for the UK) and as I was already riding on the inside lane, before I knew...

Broke my back in two places but fortunately only minor fractures. Bike is still in Germany so not sure how much damage was done

I have a FB page where I share my adventures on my W/J equipped T160 Outfit and my W/J equipped T150. It's mainly trivial stuff but occasionally there's some "excitement" like this. Lol !! If anyone wants to see what i get up to on the Windjammer bikes, this is the FB page ...

I live to "fight another day" ...... I'm back in the UK now and up on my feet, although still with a neck brace and rather sore. The strength of the W/J undoubtedly helped "preserve" me !!

Outfit doesn't look quite as pretty now .....

Rear tyre blowout, flipped 180 degrees in the air and the Windjammer (using standard Vetter brackets) took the strain and effectively saved the bike from further damage .....

Just about to head off on another adventure .... This time north and the Arctic Circle

..... just so they're easier to put on and remove
