Country Choppers in Cygnet Ohio has been around since 1972, owned and operated by Bob Hudson. Bob is well know for his help and support to everyone who visited Country Choppers and was the go to guy when it came to all bikes, especially Goldwings. I've had the pleasure of knowing Bob since 1977. It recently became time for Bob to hand over the reins to a young man who's making a go of, Country Choppers II. Today was a " Out with the old, in with the new" sale and I had the great opportunity to purchase a large photo from one of the many rally's and gatherings at the store. This photo has been hanging on the wall forever and I feel truly lucky to have been able to purchase it. I hope you enjoy the picture! How many Vetter equipped bikes do you see? Jim

That is truly a cool picture. I see 4 Vetters, and the Coke logo has not changed much has it! So, you have a print of the pic or the original? You should do a high rez scan of it, and share. :):)

Thanks, I have the original which has hung on the wall forever! The actual photo measures 24" X 20" so I don't know if I could get it scanned. But I could check. Did you notice the business card Bob cut up and used over the sign next door? Country Choppers is in the store front on the right. Bob also had a shop for awhile in Findlay Ohio I've been told.

You would have to contact somebody in your area with a large scanner. I would check with a blueprint company, they typically have large format printers.

Used to get up in that area when I was a driver, delivering liquid fertilizer. Then as a rail fan,Lipseic,Desler etc.
Never think of Ohio when it comes to motorcycles and a possible destination except the south east part of the state.

Your right about SE Ohio, great riding roads, Hocking Hills area, The triple nickel, 555, Ohio river road, actually my family owns riverfront along the Ohio river in Eureka Oh. I grew up riding Honda 50's and 70's in the hills around there, some of my best memories are staying with my grandparents and the friends I made then. I live in Fostoria Ohio now and a block away from me is the new Fostoria Railfan Park . If you get the chance to head up this way you should swing by and check it out. fostoriairontriangle.com

Haven't been up that way in years so the railpark would be new to me. There was a radio site that was tuned in there but haven't listen to in years. When I used to go I would hang out at the old freight station platform and visit the corner, neighborhood bar across the street.A lot of good train action in that area. I need a good three or four day trip and do some rail fanning on the bike again up around there.Lots of good stuff to see.
Ohio is not all corn and flat boring interstates, lot of good people and places to see.
Now I am day dreaming....motorcycles and riding;)

Steppen, that is one of the coolest pics I have seen on this forum. I would like a print of that. No seriously, I would.

I've found a place to scan the picture so I'll have the digital file in a few days. How would I share the file? Is it able to be shared somehow on here?

Depends on how big the scan is. Be sure you have them scan it at at least 600DPI. We will figure a way once you get the file. The higher the resolution the better!

Well thank you,I guess I can get one printed, never did it before on digital...I thought the bike and tracks were nice but the color, mainly contrast was screwed up.I thought Brians, our banner, was great, the blue Wing and set up with all Vetter with a beautiful background..now that is very nice!!
I cleaned up the contrast a little..kinda wish I had the hard Vetter bags but I like the soft bags bags because they pop right off so I can run half nakid if I want to.
