Spam is gonna happen on every site. Where I moderate something happened and had an influx of Russian porn,well after wearing out the ban button problem was fixed but you will still get some who get a post in before you catch it.Best advise is to ignore it,don't respond and tell the moderator.

I have pretty good spam control in the forum, but like Steppen said you cant stop it all. I sent an email to the guy that sent the spam to see if he wanted to be moderator and he didn't respond.... Guess ill have to find somebody else.

Agreed. I am just making the suggestion because you can't be on-line 24/7. More eyes watching and maybe he wouldn't have got anywhere near his 104 posts in before he was squelched.
