Sorry to hear of people being injured. Have never been in an earthquake.Mother earth will always win.

A few years ago there was one centered in Virgina that was felt here in PA. One of the ladies that worked for me thought I was playing a trick. :D

I hope everyone affected is ok. Wife was in SF in 1989 during that earthquake. She said it was crazy. Everyone ran out of their apartment building into the street. I have only been in very small ones that the dishes rattle.

Yeah, in 1989 I lived in Paso Robles and our swimming pool was a rocking and rollin with that quake. Being in cali I have been through many a quake. But, I have not experienced a tornado, tsunami, or any of that storm stuff.

No tornados or tsunamis here either. But we do have blizzards! Need Windjammers for my snowmobiles! Are you able to ride most of the year?

Are you able to ride most of the year?
For several years, a bike was all I had for year-round transportation. It's a most interesting experience riding to work in snow, keeping the bike upright with your feet dragging the slippery road like a boat with outriggers.

These days, my insurance company offers a minimal rate for riders who park their bikes during the winter months, but there have been too many nice days, even in the middle of winter, for me to stay off the Nighthawk.

So, yes, I do ride what is effectively year round, weather permitting, but not every day.

Earthquakes - check
Tornado - check
Hurricane - check
Blizzards - check
I've even seen a water spout... I like the weather of a mild Spring and Fall!!!!!

Definitely cool! I live within 2 miles of the continental divide so I really only get to ride about 8 months a year.
