Also the bracket for the gauges had to be bent forward a bit to clear the fairing, this wasn't a big deal.

There is also about 10 other things I had to do, measure both sides of the bracket and make sure it is even in the back and front on both sides.

Just curious, are you a member on the CB1100 forum? Basically I measured everything (about 20 times). Then I removed head light, turn signals, oil cooler from motor. Than I worked on the bracket until it fit, flairing out the mounts, I had to trim the one that is long on top. I tried to make...

Hello Husky, after further investigation, I think the mount I used on my 14 CB1100 is from a mid late 70's CB750. I found some on eBay that look almost exactly like mine. I have put a better fairing on my bike and found some lowers that had the same pattern. Here is a recent picture.

That is awesome news, sounds like he is well on his way to getting back to normal, or more likely his new normal...

It wasn't that bad, I had to do it in 2 pieces, left and right. I used non backing vinyl, spray glue on both the fairing and the vinyl. Then just worked it on to the fairing, one section at a time.

The bracket I used looks like ones I have seen listed on eBay for a early 80's gl1000/gl1100. I didn't have to modify it much. I removed the oil cooler (temporarly) and test fitted it with large tye raps. The frame brackets were very close to fitting. I worked on mounting the bracket first...

I used the factory head light from my 2014 CB1100. A little rigging but it is in there tight and secure.

I bought a bracket off eBay. Didn't say what it was for, but I think it was for a early gl1000/1100. Only had 1 cross bar and the frame mounts were very close. Here is a picture of the mount.

Here are some pictures of my 2014 CB1100 with a windjammer faring. The fairing itself was in good shape, the surface was worn a bit, chips, scratches, and what not. I decided to cover it in marine grade vinyl.

After looking at the add where I bought the mount it didn't say what year. I have attached a photo, maybe you can help me figure out what year it is from. Thanks
