There was a weird registration bug with seeing out verification emails. I finally figured it out, and it was a server side issue. Fixed!!!

I just looked at the kit that came with a NOS GL1000 bracket. It came with hose clamps like Brian mentioned. Thinking from a designer standpoint, I think something a little cooler then typical hose clamps could have been devised. :tomato
