You There are a few that think early Goldwings were meant to be, and should remain naked. There is even a forum for people that have that affliction. Desertrefugee is a member there also.

Larry it isn't quite as bad as you would think. I can still carve up the twisted roads just like if I had a bike tire on the back. I just expect to get about three times the mileage out of a tire - that's about the only difference. By the way AV... make sure you get the heaviest weight rated...

My guess is that it was the Veter company after Craig sold it. I think I remember talking to someone that bought a NOS one piece unit that came with Vetter name plates on the speaker grills.

The problem with motors that have the cylinders on top of the motor... they don't last as long.:p
