This isn't my first rodeo Larry. A new tire (one with a couple hundred mile) is better than the one with 12,000 mile on it that I currently have on.

I have my front wheel off right now for a new tire mounting. It's amazing how a new front tire makes you feel bullet proof as you go into a turn.

Nice score! I remember seeing one of those when I was a kid growing up, which would have been the early 70's. Looks like it was well taken care of.

They fit right into the existing holes. The ones I am worried about are the locks that hold the bags onto the rack, but those are on a bike that has a burnt up motor, so that is low on the list right now.

Welcome to the forum! I recently started replacing the locks on both my bikes (two sets of saddle bags: 2 Vetters, 2 Bates; hard cover on the right side of the Vetter Fairing) and found these that seem to be working pretty good...

The hard cover is universal and will fit any WJ. I think I remember reading somewhere that the WJ III was the first to have the hard cover on the right side rather than a soft cover.

Looks nice! Just out of curiosity, what is the reason for the two brake pedals? Is that required with the side car: one for the bike and one for the hack or just two pedals to give you a bigger brake pedal?

Nope. I am not a side car person, but if I did own one, it would be the Terraplane. I was close to buying one once. The guy wanted $500 for something that was being used as a beer cooler. My purpose for buying one isn't to mount it as a sidecar though... I would convert it into a trailer and...
