Hi, could anyone identify this Z650 Kawasaki Vetter fairing please, frame mount looks like a WJ of some type. Its currently going on Ebay for £5, may be interested in it but is a fair drive (in UK terms!) from here to pickup, also it needs a screen although the sound system maybe worth something.

Stalled a bit at the moment, frame mount is showing as "Customs Processing" on UPS tracking, I guess that means a import payment before I get it released.

I would probably like to fit the twin headlight version firstly as its lines fit better with those of the square Z1000st tank and side panels and secondly as searching the net I cannot find any other pictures of a twin headlight Polaris fitted so may be quite rare. Will keep you posted, WJ...

Now awaiting Windjammer mounting bracket from US for KZ1000 Shaft, should fit my UK bike ok. May get lucky and find fairing mounting height is similar, if not hopefully Vetter will be lower so I can make packers to raise to Polaris height.

The Polaris also had 2 large hard cover locking compartments which was useful for storage, this also helped to stiffen up the main body.

Is your Kawasaki one like this? Do you think this is a WJ style bracket or Quicksilver? If box is correct looks to be for the Shaft Drive Z1000.
