Hello,
I have a Harley Vetter Liberator fairing and tour pack that’s been stored in our old hanger building since the late 70’s. The fairing seems to be complete with the vinyl covers and a Harley-Davidson nylon bag that stores them. When I came across this site, it was said that the oldest serial number known to exist is L1062 and was owned by Mr. Vetter himself. If that is correct then I’m in possession of the oldest
complete Liberator with L1050. Please let me know if I am understanding this correctly. Thank you, Bill

Hello rockher_man,
My daughter will be stopping over to send pictures, hopefully in a couple days. I will have her take numerous photos, is there any in particular that you would want other than the Serial number plate?

Hey that's pretty cool!!

Would you be able to advise me as to the best way to sale what I have?
Thank you
Through this forum I would imagine, I'm not in the US, but as with earlier members wanted to sell fairings etc, cost of shipping around the states was the biggest hurdle.

Thats a gem you have there Shedneck. As Raider said this forum, however it's not as popular as it once was. Considering it's Harley you would prob have a much better selling experience on eBay. I would set a reserve for what would be your minimum asking. With the condition combined with Harley, I would think you might do well. Shipping will be a beast, however I would leave the shipping responsibility to the buyer. They can use uShip as an example. I am guessing you can ship it anywhere is the US for $500 bucks or so.

Thank you Kynan C.,
I know the new woke HD has crapped on many of us, but I’m sure there’s some diehard AMF lovers still around. I’ve seen some real projects go for goofy money on EBay, and hoping you can give me an idea as to a protected minimum price as if it were yours to sale.
Be blessed, Shedneck

I also have the windshield (looks new) with the nylon bolts and nuts, storage bag for the vinyl covers and the tour box all very clean.
Thanks again,
Shedneck
