this is the top clamp on my Gold Wing, it is 3 pieces 1 pc. is welded to the bracket a mirror piece is the top half and they tie together with a third piece with slot s in it. The lower mount point is still held on with hose clamps. now just need headlight bucket cover

yes the long slot on the left as you face the headlight is for centering it, I'm talking about the short slot on the right as you stand in front of the bike.

i have a WJ V I'm mounting to my 82 GL1100 Gold Wing with a Terraplane side car. Looking at the headlight bucket from the front of the bike, is there suppossed to be a bushing on the right side to center the bolt with the slot?

picked up the bracket for my gl1100 has the upper clamp with the 2 bolts. I is missing the little square piece that the 2 tabs go into any one have one they can give me the dimension, I can make them up at work. thanks

I'm dealing with a 82 goldwing the stock fairings mount on 2 flat rails similar to the vetter fairing just bolts to the bike differently.

did you try metric sizes, since most of the head light came from the bike it is possible it is metric

does anyone know or has anyone mounted a vetter fairing to a honda line fairing bracket

Mounts done been terrorising the neighborhood for past 2 days. Will need some final tweeking, but a blast to drive.

Anyone know of any place to get flattened U-bolts like the original hardware kits used
