My name is Steve and I bought my first Windjammer in 1978. It was mounted on my brand new 1978 KZ650. After putting 21k on that bike in 2 years I went head on with a Dodge Colt at 50mph each. 100mph impact. Didn't ride again for 20+ years. Rented Honda 750 Nighthawk in Hawaii and got re hooked. Bought a 1978 Suzuki GS750, the bike I really wanted back in 78 but couldn't afford (it would have been $120 more) for $400 and proceeded to spend $1500 fixing it up. It has the actual Amco backrest from KZ on it now. I still had it after all those years. I outfitted it with virgin nos WJIV I found on ebay for $100. I mounted the original Fiamm horns in it I also managed to keep from the KZ. I just posted in the want ads for some bag and trunk brackets. Sorry for the run on paragraph but I'm typing this into my phone.

Welcome to the forum Steve. That sounds like quiet the wreck you had back in the early days. Glad you are still with us today, as not many with your story live to tell. Looking forward to seeing to pics of that Suzuki! Not to many Suzuki folks on here.
 
I had a Nighthawk 750... Although I cant remember the year... Maybe it was a 700...

Here is a picture. Man it's a drag getting older, you can't remember anything.
