Found the site and registered yesterday, then got busy with a non-MC project. I hate those interruptions!

Anyway, looking forward to seeing all the varied rigs out there and learning how to restore what I've acquired.

My avatar picture and sig shows the bike I'm currently riding and restoring. I don't have any real close ups to post, yet but will shortly.
In the meantime I wonder if this is one of you guys messing around?

Fast dog!

Welcome to the party. :cheer

I've never seen that one before, but I like the way he did that.

Well I finally got back here for a followup on the rig I'm currently riding.

Thanks for the welcome. I am now looking for a "road dog", lol
Here's what I am working with:

As you can tell, there is a significant amount of over spray from somewhere along the line.
There are some spots where brake fluid leaked onto the fairing hard cover on the right and down.
The underside of the bags are pretty coated with road grime/soot and I need to do some work cleaning those up.
One side catches a good amount of water as well.

I've talked with a fellow that has a soda blaster and he said he'd take a look at it and tell me what could be done.
I'd like to go back with a nice semi-gloss, black of course, and get the pin striping and badges done after that.
If any one has ideas for replacement of those rear lights on the trunk and what round led lights could go in the present holes without routing out extras material, that would be great.

I have had this picture saved ever since Roncar posted it.

It is an interesting idea, the problem is finding them... I know of one place, but they do not sell them: U-Haul. I think truck stops are another source.

Looks like a fun project Ron! I think the XS11SF looks so cool Vetterized. Mine is currently apart while I fix the head.
