That's what I figured but I thought I would ask before dropping around 100 for a new windshield. Now I just need to decide tall or normal and vents or no vents. My current is tall no vents, its nice but I am worried how hot it will be this summer. It is also difficult to see over it if needed so...
I have gone from a wow who would ride a bike with that on there, to well maybe just in the winter to stay warmer and ride more, to I like this it's staying.
Now that I'm leaving the wj on it needs to be rebuilt and painted to match the bike.
1st question... Anything I should know before...
I have a WJ V, I am assuming the windshield is the original. When I bought it the windshield had scratches on it that looked pretty bad. I was able to remove all scratches and make the windshield look very nice. My problem and in turn question is, now that I am riding the windshield is starting...
If you have a voltmeter I would at least test the voltage at the coils (and headlight) first just to get a reference point. My 550 was at 8 volts (12v system) my 850 was closer to 10 volts. The lower the voltage just shows how much work you have to do to get it back to par. If your bike was...

I know where to buy the luggage (its my bike in the pictures) (and ebay is considerably cheaper) the problem I have is that they don't make mounts for the vintage bikes so I have to adapt the old mount to new luggage. The first bike is done it uses the vetter frames. The second bike will have...
Givi is an Italian manufactured luggage the top box (trunk) in my picture is givi luggage. And this picture is full givi luggage mounted on vetter frames.

I have a NOS set of Tri-bar (samsonite) luggage rack I'd like to convert to Givi luggage. I have already done this with the Vetter luggage rack and think the tri-bar should be easier. Has anyone done this?
Has anyone else made givi luggage fit the vetter rack?
