Planning to make a lot of miles wth the bike. (Did like 3k miles and about 3 months already) Gonna try finding the correct lowers or see if I can adapt some of the original ones for a fit. Might give it another paint job. Looks like it was done but wrong colour or faded. The tophalf at least...

Pulled my bike to 160 kph yesterday, should be around 150 kph for real, and thats about 100 mph. Didnt feel a thing. Didn't have much weight in the bags though.

Not sure how well the bigger ones work, but having gone down with 25 mph and the bike sliding on over pavement, they worked nicely. I left the crash bar on, but even if I had replaced it, it would still be a cheaper fix then the oil pan of your bike!

Kinda how the bags on my 1100 GW look. Not much if you look at them, but can hold a nice bit, if loaded right.

Well, as long as it isn;t working, they can't detect it either......lol

If they work or not on modern day radar, here in the Netherlands equipment warning you for radra control is illegal. Costs 240 euro's fine and the confiscate the equipment. And oh, some police cars have a radar detector-detector on board!

I've had the small ones on my cb 350F when I had to make an emergency brake and went down with about 40 kph. Also had leather saddle bags on the rear, but it saved my oil pan from damage, where the crash bar was rather 'scratched'. Glad I installed them a few days earlier!

If you look at the pictures of the bags from behind they look bulky and wide. Then looked at the picture from the top and thought, sheesh, barely holds a cardboard of milk. lol

Not sure how they thought of the saddle bags but the top case kinda reminds me of the one you could get with the Silver Wing. The one that goes onto the spot of the duo passenger. If wanted, I can take more detailed pictures of the fairing. Only needs a radio installed again, but everything...

Roncar, this is the one! And think there were lowers, as there is a metal L bracket sticking out where they should go! Also, mine has a (moveable) cover where the radio should go. Similar to a vetter sound system, but opening downwards and not clear plastic. If anyone has a brochure and can...
