I have seen these rigs out on the road. I have seen some drivers pull over on the side of the road (if they can) when they get a lot of cars backed up behind them on the highway. Driving that rig looks about as much fun as pushing a chain up hill with a stick.

Tell us about one of your road trips.

Brian: The Vetter bag mounts that I got with my bags came off a 1983 Goldwing. I own a 1975 Gl1000 bike that I need to find bag mounts for. I am all set up with the Jammer mount to fit my GL1000.(Flea Bay find)

    Honda GL1000 Saddle Bag Identification

Thanks for the info ron. I may end up cutting my 83 GL mount to fit the 75 GL1000. Now I can scale it with your pictures. Oh one thing, 2nd picture of the trunk rack. Is the mount that bolts to the grab bar bent at 90 or 45 degs. And how high should this mount be.

A few days ago I drove 887 miles and picked up a Jammer, bags and trunk. I have the jammer mounting frame I need. Everthing came off a 87 Goldwing, so I will end up looking for the bag mounts for an 75 Gl1000- or fire up the welder and make what I have fit. I had a 75 GL1000 for about 25 years...
