Thanks! I turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I bought a newer Windjammer 4 off of Craig's list the other day that I will restore and color match to the bike. Hopefully it will look as good or better.
Thanks! The bike rides great. There is a lot of stability in the front end that I didn't get with the stock windshield, as good as it is. The front end balance is not bad either, I don't notice it being funky and top heavy at all. Overall, I am very pleased with it.

I would agree with you on the strength of the bracket without the lower cross member. On my Shadow ACE Tourer I had to split my bracket and fabricate a weld point to the frame on either side. Each of these bikes present a unique challenge, that's for sure.
