I bought my 1973 Honda CB750 from a gentleman who owned a gas station in Lubbock, Texas in 1974 when I was a Junior at Texas Tech. I would stop at his gas station to put $5 in my '67 GTX and drool over his bike. He had the local Honda dealership install the Vetter Windjammer II fairing, Triple A running boards with heal/toe shifter, Front and rear crash bars, saddle bags and luggage box. He had turned that naked 750 into a highway bike and I loved it. One day there was a For Sale Sign on the bike. He had just put his order in for the first 1975 Goldwing to be delivered to the Lubbock Honda dealership. Needless to say, I had just turned 21 and so I emptied my savings account and bought that bike. I tell my wife the reason we are together is because of that bike every time she asks if I'm ready to sell it. HA HA! I added the Vetter lowers to the fairing and an adjustable 70's era Honda sliding backrest in the 1990's.
