I just joined the forum today. I am new to cycles and to Vetter. I recently purchased a 1982 Honda GL500 Trike, a metermaid bike. It came with a Vetter V fairing, but no bracket. I did purchase a bracket on eBay, that was supposed to be for a GL500. Looking at the bracket and comparing it to online photos, I have a GL1100 bracket. Is it any wonder why I can't get it to fit???? My question, does anyone out there have a good picture of the GL500 bracket or the dimensions so I can fabricate one. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

That's one of the reasons I stopped buying anything on Ebay years ago. You never know what's actually going to show up in the box they send you. I ordered a widget and got a whatsit despite the picture of the widget I wanted being posted on the page. I attempted recourse with no luck and no help from Ebay or the seller. That was the final straw for that Camel.
