Headlight plastic rim needed

Hi I have a gl1000 1975 with a pantara fairing and need a new plastic rim for the head light,I have been a biker since I was 15 and still biking at 84,now only on old goldwings. been a member since it started in 1980. take care out there.Peter.

Sorry, I am not familiar with the Pantara fairing. Are you sure it is a Vetter product? A picture would certainly be helpful.

Okay, I did a little hunting. The Pantara is kinda cool. It looks a bit like a Windjammer knockoff (as many of them were). It is British made.

I could not find a source for replacement screens, however, you might want to contact this guy. He provide replacements for Wixom, Lufmeister, and some others. He might be able to help you or point you to a source.

The later Pantera fairing like the one I have, uses the stainless headlight rim from the Renault 10, if I recall correctly. Not impossible to find one, but it will be a long search.
As for the screen it's identical to the Jammer, as are the fairing mounts. I mounted mine on WJ mountings.
