Wow, that is amazing clean and looks awesome. The modifications you did on the GL look super classy and do not detract from the bike in the least. Two thumbs up! Shoot some detailed closeups Paul, would love to see more.

Hello Hello Hello. I'm sorry, the person your trying to reach is unavailable. Please leave your message @ the beep. My bike is down. I have done a lot to the Old GoldWing. New coils new paint New look. I loaded up an we went to OldTown GoodGuys Car Show. I had this noise in the motor while I was pulling away heavy twisted. Only then you can hear this. ~1cylinder lean sticking cv slide standard carb issues But back to the noise. I could pull the 1-wire off the plug it would stop making the noise. But now it just dose it all the time. I dident compression check it no tool But the gasket on the #-1 side is bad and out of round.head gaskets.jpeg. the jugs look good insidehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whnymDwfQys. I was out on the road for awhile now I'm home to fix her up.. Also the video ... The left head is the right head.. I said it in reverse ..

sorry for the late reply. Yes I figured = the new coils are keeping the cylinders exhaust around 400'f everything is hotter for one. I could remove the coil wire form #1 and the sound would stop. At an Idle it' has the sound of a finger on a wine glass's rim short notes here an there. It is quite expressive, Sounds are Isolated. I had adjusted the valves to 00.3 to ensure I was not hearing any Ghost noise coming from the cams wear on that side. Final on Idle. no patch yet either...

Well kinda. The motor is on my bench with the heads off an the front an rear covers removed. The trip we made with the bike all done up was 6 years in the making. The trip was great importance to us. I New there are still underlying problems with this OldWing. Now that we continue to improve the quality of the bike. As we know that the carburetor's are a weak spot in the bike coils being another. I have been doing extensive research on making improvements in this OldWing. Once I have a baseline from the crank out I'll be in touch with knowing that this bike will go another or I we have something to leave. I'll keep up-to-date information on it. Couple months st the least it is still. Correct in numbers matching.. Thanks to those who are involved with my OldWing.. the next meet and greet we will be ready..

One nice thing Paul is that it really doesn't take long for a Wing to go from where you are at right now to be ready to ride. I think it took me a day's worth of wrenching once I had the C5 ignition installed until I had it ready to ride again. My next major hurdle will be the single carb on the 1100.

Starting to get hot Paul! Same thing here in Bakersfield. Not looking forward to those 110+ days!

The bike will come together, for me it's a time thing. I need more!

Hello hello hello.. Sorry for the delay in the posting. I've been busy with this bike $$$$.$$ (sad face) Anyway the motor is ready to go back together. All cleaned up, the screen had some trash in it. But when I picked this bike up it only had 13,an change on it. Crappy carbs killed it. But there is a a plan.. ALSO I got my Patch today. It sure looks cool even cooler when I get it on my Jacket.
